S510 30Yr Anniversary shroud

Sun Nov 20, 2016 6:43 pm

My first AA was a 30year old anniversary and I used it for a year, however I have decided to retire it to be my collectors item, but noticed a small mark on the shroud ,, not a scratch as I can feel no "indent / edge" with a fingernail , more of a black scuff and I am reticent to try any "rough" cleaning .. unless folk have ideas

Can Julian get replacement shrouds for the 30yr Anniversary in chrome and is it an easy job to replace for a reasonably competent "screwdriver driver" .. TY

I am sure Julian or if he cant, the Airarms themselves will help.
To try and clean out the mark, try toothpaste..... A smidgen on your finger + the tiniest amount of water and some rubbing might buff it out satisfactorily ;)
