S400 power variable

Hi chaps,the power on my 400 has started to fluctuate up and down as much as 25 fps . Advise please what to do.

Check the hammer rail hasn't gained a little rust, then polish it but only wipe the inside of the hammer. Then check the firing valve and spring.
The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second one mouse that gets the cheese.

Thanks brooksy is there a thread on here which shows you how to strip the rifle , I believe there was before the web site changed but cannot find it..

Hi Rosie, how old is it, and does it still have the anti tamper in, if it does you will need the use of a pillerdrill or pop it round to local engineering shop to remove. kev Todd done a complete stripdown of S510 awhile ago, have a look, you should be able to find it, very easy to strip and rebuild, and of course Julian for seal kits etc. have fun. Thanks roger, the anti tamper has been removed so that's not a problem and its 4 years old, I will have a look for the thread, on here I presume .

Hi I just got a new s400 superlite with the anti tamper ahear bolt, is that pdf still available please?
