Where are you staying Raj? I've been twice to a hotel called The Blue Heron at Johnson's Point, but I think they've done it all up now and renamed it as I can't find it on the web.
It was pretty bad really, they told all the staff they had a month to work before they closed it, so they all buggered off and we virtually had to serve ourselves

Still, I don't recall leaving the bar at any point.

We are staying at a lovely villa on Hamilton Estate. It is a complex of 4 villas with a common pool but we have had the whole lot to ourselves due to Off Season for a bargain £20 per head/day
Extremely well kitted out with absolutely everything we could wish for - Dishwasher, washing machine, huge range cooker and microwave, 5 beds, tall ceilings, stunning views of the sunset and sea from the colonial veranda, A/cs, sea side bits and pieces like mats, snorkels and floats - 10 mins from the beach in the nicest, cleanest part of Antigua .... next to Sugar Ridge and Jolly Harbour. :)

I've spent many an hour at Jolly Harbour as the dive centre Jolly Dive was the only place for miles. It was run by a guy called Paul Roos, I don't know if he's still trading, unfortunately his dive sites were all on Cades Reef, but despite it being a marine park, nobody stopped the locals dropping fish traps an completely depleting the reef. The market in St John by the bus station was full of tropical fish, even the virtually inedible ones. Such a shame.
The good bit was being able to have a leisurely breakfast on the hotel balcony while the dive boat rounded the headland and backed up to the beach, upon which I would finish my coffee and stroll out like James Bond to board it. Well, Brook Bond but never mind.
