Forest fires in France

Thu Jul 27, 2017 12:43 pm

Does anybody know is Sake-san is anywhere near the forest fires raging in France. Hope he is well out of the way. I have friends over there on holiday who have been moved from their campsite for the time being until things are sorted out.
Let us know Sake-san how far away you are from the fires.

Hi Kevin
I believe he is in the Dordogne region, about 350 miles east of the fires. So he should be ok. :D

Just remembered,
He did mention that he had sold "Sake Towers" and was moving slightly further north into "Grayling country", wherever that is, so should be even safer there :D

Thank you very much for the kind concern, it is very much appreciated.
Happily we are a long way from the fires, which thankfully now seem to be contained.
We leave here late August and our new home is in the Limousin region. The hectare of gardens may just prove sufficient for a French AAOC meet based upon the previous interest ;)

My thanks again
