The second thing to hit me this year so far. My nose is running like a good one.
What's your quick remedy. I just want to feel normal again.

Dont chase it, Ray. It will get fed up and stop running.
On a more constructive note, get one of them snoods ... £2.00 from most walking and camping shops. Keep your neck, cheeks, mouth and nose covered for a day or two. Re-breathe inside the snood. The stable temperature in there will soon settle things. For moral support, you can take a good measure of 50 - 50 port and brandy. Warm very gently till it is about 35 C and sip it

Instead of tablets you can add to the hot lemonade some fizzy paracetamol, a 1000mg fizzy vitamin C and a good spoon of honey. watch out, it fizzes!

Starting to feel a little better now.
The nose is a wee bit sore and my head spinning but atleast I can think
I was supposed to go and get a flu shot not long ago but I was too busy
Most people I know still come down with it after having it.
Oh well must rest up

My mother swore on hot lime-tree blossom tea with honey and some aspirin.
It helps to sweat it out.

A good sweat seems to be the common theme.
In that case, an infusion of lime blossom and paracetamol, honey and whisky in boiled lemonade, wrap up in the duvets and watch that video of Raj trying to get out of his lycra while a freshly shaven Edna reclines on the bed wearing nothing but a toothless smile, wrinkles and sweaty chafe marks.
You'll soon feel better!
