Feb. 15, 1993 was when we had to have our last dog put down. As much as we love dogs, we decided that this was just too hard to ever go through again. Duke was my last dog and not a day goes by without thinking of him. I've had many dogs before, but this one was just special. I know exactly what you're going through and you have my deepest sympathy.

Thanks for all your support,it means alot.

Molly never liked the vets due to one uncaring local that was once rough when handling her, so we decided to have the nice vet visit us and keep her calm and stress free.
My family and i spent a lovely couple of hours with her, and she wagged her tail lapping up all the fuss. She was so weak though, and a comfort was to let her rest her head on my hand.
That was Molly all over as she gave us joy every day of her life. The injection was made as i held her and she was so chilled and relaxed.

Im sitting here feeling totally lost and upset, knowing we have done the right thing yet taken her life, even though the vet said that her veins were collapsing (mainly due to refusing to eat for 5 days and the cancer) so we know it was time.
Molly will be cremated and her ashes scatterd around the park that she once loved.

Really sorry to here of this Ray. The one and only bad side of owning pets is that they very rarely outlive us. Chin up mate. The way I try to look at it is I'm pretty sure you gave her the best life she could have had and she loved every minute with you.

as the owner of the dog Ray, you made the call that was needed, when it was needed, very sorry for your loss mate.
