No more building on green sites, no extra housing needed if you reduce the population.

look to all the unused land in the inner cities ie derelict warehousing, shops and office space .. knock them down and build in the city centres again, less folk to commute to eat, drink and work eases roads

Any foreign owned empty investment properties should be compulsory purchased at 2000 prices and turned into council flats.

Why build flats and houses in derelict town and city centres? This goes against the policy of encouraging commuting and school runs which generate vast amounts of tax revenue.
Duty on the fuel, VAT on tyres and repairs, coach, bus and train drivers paying tax and NI.
I also have difficulty understanding why we need HS2. As a senior railway manager I'm astounded by the amount of commuters to and from London when they could all stay local, pay less building rent/lease and hold video conferences in HD.
