1. it's possible you're not skinning fast enough...
2. while there are a myriad of other things your fingers can be utilized for during the skinning process it is possible to disengage one or more to remove the "spring" from under one of your eyelids without breaking the skinning rhythm and therefore having to start over...zing who knows...
