It is my sad duty to inform our members that Ray Ross has passed away after a long battle with cancer. Ray was a true air gunner and gentleman. His passion for the sport had no bounds.
As one of the first members he was and will always be regarded as a special member.
This sport has lost a great man.
Rest in peace dear friend.

Ray Ross aka raygun
Did I mention that I'm the only one to have attended EVERY meet since we started
Re: Ray Ross
Really sorry to hear that, Ray was always such a prominent and knowledgeable forum member. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Ray, but I know the world will be a poorer place with his passing.
Deepest and sincerest condolences to all of his loved ones. RIP Ray.

As a member of Rivington Riflemen, I always found Ray a gent and a font of Knowledge re airgun law and always willing to share this knowledge as some will testify.
He was also an ardent HFT shooter and well known and liked in this arena. He will be sorely missed.
RIP Ray.

This is very sad news. My condolences to his family and friends.
Ray will be sorely missed for his deep knowledge and humour, his reasoned approach and gentlemanly behaviour. This forum is a poorer place with his passing.
May I suggest a gone but not forgotten section - did we not have something similar on the old forum?
I would like to see Ray and Phil remembered in there and any others we have liked and loved. I never met the guys but they struck me as real gents.
RIP Ray.

My condolences to Ray's family.
A very popular chap as it seems,a big thread on thread on the BBS.
I remember him buying a Honda 400/4 that was in mint condition, as he had just rekindled his love for motorcycles.
Rip Ray.
