Call it instinct, trial and error or what you will .... but I have been inadvertently doing two things that massively impact the quality of the rabbit meat I shoot.
1. H-Bone hanging
2. Blooming in the fridge - no air.
Look them up in the context of treating slaughtered animals and all will be clear
