6 Hrs & 7 miles, Phew!

Sat Sep 19, 2015 4:26 pm

Me `n the gaffer did a rather serious walk today, known locally as `the Crags` we thought we`d tackle them with the dogs, unknown to us a large section of the walk is undergoing `timber harvesting` & has been `type oned` to allow the machinery required,- easier access to this quite remote spot.
if you've never walked on type one, trust me, you don`t wanna do it wearing thin soled trainers or, in my case, Crocs! VERY sore day today, but, hey ho!
that`s them above us in this picture

Nice !!! Just did a 31 mike bike ride and warming up for a 50 mile circuit tomorrow :)
Nothing like being out there enjoying the outdoors.

this may give a better understanding of where we walked

up (& it was a fair way up, trust me) & around the back of this rock hill, then along the front top edge in this picture, bit scary at times, especially with two daft dogs.

That's some nice countryside to walk around Wastrel, and looks like you picked good weather too!! I'd be worried about about my dog near that edge.

erm, it`s the timed pic function on my camera, I simply set it to 1 pic every 5 secs, set it on a nearby wall or post, stand back, tummy in, try to look windswept & interesting, fail miserably, sod them, that`ll have to do, choose the best one for AAOC, voila.
