Motown wouldn't make my ears bleed, but I would probably slit my throat if I had to listen. CCR is my favorite, but I listen to most classic rock from the 60's and 70's. How about Dave Dee?

Hold tight, count to three,
Gotta stay close by me
And hold tight, sing and shout
Just ride my round-about
And hold tight, shut your eyes, girl,
You suit me for size.
Forget the other guys.
You'll never fall each time you call.
Hold tight, hold tight, hold tight.
credence are also ok.

Paul Simon, REM, Johnny Cash, Steriophonics, Seasick Steve, Mumford and Sons. Any body that can really write it and play it without resorting to electronics.
Just like the sound of a good PCP, Daystate are mostly electronic I believe. :D

Is it any good? I saw Floyd Live in 88, never forgotten that night.

Massachusettes by the Bee Gees now, Simon Dupree Kites just before that.

Division Bell was the best PF imo. I got the Endless River - OK in parts but a bit mishmash.

Let's go to San Francisco................ Flowerpot men

Slim Whitman, George Baker, and when Christmas gets here I'll listen to Helmut Lotti and Cliff Richard singing Mary's Boy Child as well as David Bowie and Bing Crosby.
