Yaaaaaaay

Thu Aug 13, 2015 5:33 pm

My youngest boy got the green light for uni today. Three A**** means he gets to go to his preferred establishment, Northumbria, although York did offer him a spot too 8-) :D :D :D

Poor bugger is being run ragged trying to find part time work. There are some right gits out there like Virgin who messed him about for three weeks before rejecting him after lots of phone calls by Ryan asking if a decision had yet been made :x It looks he's going to have to get a full time job and work that around uni and vice versa. :(

Thats good news Gordon. One proud dad eh :D
I'm sure that he'll pick some work up somewhere. Supermarkets etc may be worth a go?
Apparently the North East has the best A level grades for the whole country. :)
Good luck to your boy ;)

That's basically who he's been applying to Pat. He got straight in to Tesco .com over the Xmas but they demanded flexibility which wasn't a problem to him then. Employers seem to want it all ways these days, bollox to the employee
