sorry to hear that my friend. no matter how its dressed up, it a poor situation you have to deal with. it is true that they can dismiss you for no reason in the first two years of employment, but he gave you a reason. if you wish to pursue a case for unfair dismissal, you could see a solicitor at your local citizens advice. if you have no disaplinery record you may be able to get some compensation. good luck in your search for employment.

Thanks for all the feedback and help ,me and my wife have spoken about taking legal action but I just want to move on and find a new job.

So sorry to read about the way you were treated, unless you can find a solicitor who will give you a free consultation try your local CAB. You can then assess if there is a case to answer for the way your dismal was handled.

I'm just going to concentrate on finding a job mate ,I don't have the time nor the money to take legal action.
