given the quality of their pellets compared to other makes, I was astonished after a 20 odd year break from shooting to see them still going, the first pellets I could source locally were pointed milbro`s, my next purchase (after joining this forum & reading posts on pellet choice, if truth be told!) were AA fields,
so, that`ll be my last Milbro pellet then, so this is no surprise to me if pellets were their main earner? I`ve never heard of Milbro-anything else but if any member wants to bring me up to speed on what else they did?

They were probably one and the same, it was an acronym for 'Mills Brothers Trading' they worked like Bisley and Jack Pyke by rebranding others products and marketing them.

There appear to be two different "Milbro's"!

Mills Brothers, Model Engineers, Sheffield.

Didn't Milbro receive all the repatriated machinery etc from Dianawerk after the war.

They made the Diana airguns in Scotland. Diana eventually started up again as "Original".
Milbro moved down South around 7 years ago.

Sad news another Air rifle company to go down the pan .... :(

The Milbro name and company was take over by Ben Taylor and Andrew Huggett. they teemed up to start a multi Air gun tuning and specialist tuning company and kept the Milbro name. this has no! relation to the old Milbro pellets from the 1970,1980's

Although the new company did make pellets and they were called Milbro I think they were just re-named JSB pellets.

Ben Taylor was highly regard as air gun tuner,,,and has been in the air gun tuning trade for a long time. taylor, has an established name, and was regarded as a good Air gun tuner.

Andrew huggett was also an Air gun tuner from way back, I think started at Venom as a young lad and learn the trade well and has good skills in air gun tuning.
He then started making silencers/mods and combined shroud and silencer, i think he designed shrouds/Mods for Daystate.
huggett's, work is of very good Quality.

Ben Taylor and Andrew huggett designed an air rifle called the....( Mibro Metisse Air Rife) expensive indeed and more collectible than practical, specialist rare Air rifle using very expensive materials. you would never see one in any Gun shop.

This video bellow, will show you most things About the Milbro company, and what they made ect, the bellow link also shows the ( Mibro Metisse Air rifle)

see below.
