hi all . can any one tell me what spec the tx200 mk2 has,

ive just bought a used tx200 .22 16255 number no barrel shroud apart from the very end ,
it has 4 anti bear trap groves = I I II three are evenly spaced with the last 4th close to the third.

some may say its a mk2 late model but with a mk3 longer stroke ??????? any info would help.
i also have a mk3 tx200 .22 1998 year

You could ring AA direct and ask them for some information based on the serial number you give them.

e mailed them , they said it is a 1998 last of the mk2, ive just used some of the bluing gel on the barrel , now it looks like new.
the bluing gel works great for worn and mild rusting barrels ,

You could cock both guns and check the angle of the cocking arms. This would tell you if the stroke is the same. I once had a MarkII with a 16,000 serial number and it had MarkIII stroke. I bought it used and it could have been changed because it had a 25 coil FAC spring and was doing 725 fps with .177 Exacts in 8.44 cr. I dropped in a new spring 29 coil and it went up to 880 fps.

All TX's and Pro Sports take the same seal. You will find some have slightly tighter comp. tubes, but all take the same seal.
