Hi all,
I have a air arms S200 which I have never charged . Its a mark 1 I have the brass adapter and I am trying to charge of a air tank. My brother normally uses this to charge his HW100 and has not problems. when we add the air arms adapter id does not go on the whip very far but we get it finger tight and then give it a nip up. as we try to charge air leak out the back of the whip, nothing is coming out forward where the adapter is just out the back of the whip. when we put the HW100 adapter back on it works perfect. Please see photos of the m20 rifle end and the brass adapter I have. is there something else needed ? or any suggestions ? I got the rifle second hand and I have never charged an S200 before.

put some ptfe (plumbers tape) around the threads then do it up with a spanner but not too tight

You may need a dowty washer, or to give it its proper name, a bonded seal

Hi both,
The air is not escaping from the thread it is going out the back of the whip attachment. Someone told me to get a dowty seal which I did and I put that over the read of the adapter and it did nothing. The thread does not go that far in to the whip that it tightens and again, the air is not escaping from the adapter but from the whip but I know there is nothing wrong with the whip as it fills the Hw100 with no problems and no leaks.

Thanks Alan
