guns of old

Tue May 05, 2015 9:34 pm

got my old logun mk2 pro out tonight for a look over. the gun is now my sons. I gave him the gun a few years ago. anyway I forgot how nice the gun is. great stock. the best bolt cocking system on any rifle ive ever tested. and in .177 will take the scrotum off a mozi at 30 yards. still has the old simmons aetec 2.8-10x44 on it. it was the nuts in its day. man im getting old. I think I will leave the old BSA air sporter mk2 under the bed.

sure mate. I will get the gun out tomorrow and take a pic for you. I can remember the day my dad got me the gun god rest his soul. it took 2 hands for me to cock the gun. and I had to rest the gun to shoot it. it was to heavy for me to hold up.

ha. the webley hawk mk2 if im not mistaken mate. that was the first gun I ever owned. I loved it. a saved up in my penny jar for ages and managed to save about £17. and my oldest brothers friend sold it to me. I was about 8yo at the time. nice beech stock. I got the gun and spent 2 weeks sanding the stock and my brother wood staind it for me.

Makes you feel old! Imagine how I now feel as I still have my Mk1 bought from new. Mine is in .22 but is awesomely accurate and functioning perfectly.

True ... True ... The first time I cocked and fired it, I looked everywhere for the pellet and eventually found it by my feet
