suppose it's time to spam the forum with photo's of old AA's
one of these MPR's was bought new (& stripped for fiddlin before having a scope fitted or a shot fired ) and the other was btas regged BUT improved massively by reverting to the un-regged valving etc.
add my Venom mk1 TX200 (.177") into the mix...
RUST!
thats what a few years in a guncase does....
and again, rust on one of the MPR's..
wonder what the barrel looks like behind the carbon shroud
this stock has stayed with me, was on the GML I bought (in '96??) & I actually thought it was a bit of dirty wood...
I had this stock 'cast' - the cheakpiece on a standard AA item tapers away from the rifle's centreline giving variable eye-relief & sight-picture so this was 'bent' to straighten - actually was bent enough to taper the opposite direction but after ~14 years it's started to relax back
little personalisations to help with repeatable results...
does this look any different to standard? honestly I cannot remember
another view.
modified an ebay silencer adapter, was actually cheaper than my lathe-time
this is because I prefer the eralier 'older' Foster type filler valve over AA's slip-on setup and this adds some length so will not work with conventional 'off the shelf' adapters
the Venom wood.
More to come (as I have a few rifles ) but Imgur has had a fit
Rich.
still have a few rifles...

Re: still have a few rifles...
amongst other lead-lobbers I have an aged Walther 'CP' pistol that I bought ~15 years ago as a project - it has what I've been led to believe is the common broken firing-pin & I've been too busy to fix it:p
has had a bit of use in a past life...
simple sight with lots of adjustment, also has a 'dry-fire' option, guessing for trigger practace?
one-day project:oldgrin:
I found a mag article re. the CP , Target Gun magazine March 1982 - Walther CP1 review
https://www.classicapa.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1071
some nice info there (from 1982)
Rich.

Re: still have a few rifles...
had a pair of C02 bb pistols from my father, good fun but not my thing..
Glock17 & Webley mk6.
the origonal mk6 was a .455" beast, not something you'd want to be looking down the barrel of
these fire steel bb's, eat C02. and are a good laugh

some bits of evrything in there
stainless & brass 'GML' bolt-handles, mk1 Ev2 pressure guage / level mount and AAOC badges
believed from the origonal / first forum era so ~'06 vintage?
I've got a few more stash-boxes so no Idea whats hidden, probably nothing of intrest though

although it's origonal S2/3/4** hybridisation is a bit older

Re: still have a few rifles...
Still have them
Recently bought a few scopes to get a few other rifles in service, Burris made naturally….
1.
Burris fullfield 2 in 2-7x35, one I’ve been looking for since first getting into Burris’s riflescopes (and after Tom Kinder bought a Burris ’Sako Quad’ scope with a 35mm objective lens) Burris’s ‘ballistic Plex’ ret - great for .177” and sun 12’/lbs.
2.
Burris Signature in 3-12x40, this is an old scope, possibly 30 years old! Gloss black finish and front ao (also a dusk / daylight setting to alter an iris and depth of field) fine-crosshairs…
3.
Burris fullfield 2 in 3.5/10x50, had one of these some years ago and it went to the ‘Gnome…
Finally found one for sensible money on eBay. Again with the Ballistic Plex.
If you don’t know my Burris fettish then just understand I’ve a few, also had a few that I’ve stupidly sold on (& regretted 🥴)
Photos to follow…
