When did the 3 slots first a ppear on the tx200.or what year .ive got a 2004 model and it dont have 3 slots on the piston.maybe ive not explained it very well.hope someone can answer.

those slots are the anti bear trap mechanism, so, find out when AA introduced that & hey presto!

I can't give you a specific year. The bear trap first appeared on the Mark II. When they went to the Mark III they went to three slots for the bear trap.

The MK 2 also had three but evenly spaced, then along came the mk3 with uneven spacing's
Mk 1 was 90,s
Mk 2 was 95 ish
Mk 3 was late 90,s

Is your gun a lefty? If it is, you won't see the cuts as they are on the right side.
