It does seem that airgunners get the bad press but this is because others don't get caught. I know farmers who will throw an unwanted litter of kittens , LIVE, on the Rayburn. I know one who got impatient with a lamb that kept following him. He picked it up by the back legs and threw it over arm back over a gate. Another kills ravens by lacing a dead lamb with sheep dip and then goes and shoots them as they stagger about. Another had a Hunterway sheep dog which would bite sheeps heads , killing them. The farmer cut off its canines with a pair of pliers. I suppose we are easy targets?
