Having just bought the galahad I would like to upgrade my tank to a 300bar .Anyone on here recommend tank size I have a 15l tank at the minute 232bar but cant fill galahad to 250bar. Would like to know how many fills I would get from 12l 300bar . Many thanks Bert

Make sure there is a dive shop near you that can fill to 300 bar. My usual shop tried to sell me a 7 litre 300bar kit for £250 because "you get a lot more fills". I said can you fill it to 300?He said no only 232. Pillock!

There is a posting in this link below. The assumptions are not ones I would make but it may help. He assumes 400 cc empty "buddy" cylinder whereas gun cylinders are a bit smaller and we would not usually let a gun cylinder get empty nor would we let a scuba tank get to 130 bar! You could however use the 300 vs 232 as a pro rata calculation.

250 bar? Sorry if the specs have changed, but the last Galahad I saw (a regulated one) the max fill pressure was 210 bar :?

Have a look at this site it says about 40 fills for a 12ltr bottle.

Like the article I posted these are fills of an empty gun. You will probably refill when gun is still three quarters full so you might multiply that 40 fills by 3 or more.
