S200 cylinder

Sun Mar 15, 2015 9:24 pm

Hi,

I somehow managed to get hold of a longer cylinder for my S200. I was going to sell the S200 but now that new cylinder has transformed the gun. There is still a power curve but not anywhere near as bad as with the original one.

Now several of my mates want one for there S200's. I got mine from SCR but he said that it was just one that came in, he can't get them or stock them.

I have emailed CZ, that was a complete watse of time as they haven't bothered to reply at all (won't buy a FAC rifle from them if that's their attitude).

Any ideas?

Thanks

WBD

I notice CZ are selling the longer cylinder for 104 Euros.

Another choice is A&M Gunsmiths, they are advertising longer cylinders for the S200

Thanks Dave,

I did try A&M Custom and they don't do them anymore.
I will pass on the link to my friend,

Thanks again,

A&M quoted me £120 to supply a 30% longer cylinder. The problem is you have to send off your current cylinder for them to remove the brass end bit. They then make up the new tube, fit your existing brass bit, and then pressure test the new vessel. Bit pricey in my opinion!
Just today I ran a full shot string over the chrony, my S200 produced 59 good shots before falling to 529ft/sec.

My previous post was not published in its entirety. It no longer represents the full content of the post. To me this is unacceptable, in my opinion the AAOC as it is today is a poor replacement for the previous forum.
I will not be returning to this site at anytime in the near future.
