Peter, I have never found that Napier gun oil here in Canada and what I've always done with my triggers was to polish the sears and then use an ever so small amount of moly on the contact surfaces. How do you feel about that compared with the oil? I kinda dislike the idea of flooding the trigger mechanism with any kind of oil.
I think ballistol is similar. Mine is an indoor gun so a dry trigger would have been fine also. Since the video I have put moly on the pins and sear faces. I use a hair trigger with almost no second stage so I am worried about polishing a rounded sear engagement. Longer second stage for field use benefits from a polish but not with a Dremel like the guy in the most viewed trigger video!
