Hi,
I am also a Scots Bob but I don't live in Scotland these days. I too bought a new air Arms rifle on the 11th of March. It was a S400f classic. I bought it on the Saturday and it went back to air arms on the Monday as it was putting out 12.14ft/lbs with JSB heavies 10.34 gr. It was pellet on pellet but I don't want to be locked up as I haven't got a FAC.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you get your rifle back soon.

Cheers

Bob

Hi Bob

Perth is not exactly the Highlands, but it's not too far away :D

I'm not sure if you're new to the sport, but if you are, welcome to the wonderful world of airguns. It's a strange one, where we all seem to accept levels of quality and service that no other sport or activity I've ever come across would accept for one minute, as this thread demonstrates. In my slightly more cynical moments I wonder if anything ever works straight out of the box.

That said, it's great fun and Air Arms guns are superb once you've got them sorted, so good luck and good shooting.

Alan
