s410f shooting a wee bit hot
I put a couple different pellets through my .22 S410 Carbine while it was sitting at about 100bar. The results are a bit hotter than is desirable for 3 of the pellets I use. How can I easily take about 1 ft/lb off the rifle? Or will the fill pressure affect the power at all, though I understand the sx00 series are supposed to be semi-self regulating.

You would have to take antitamper out ( if fitted) to turn it down, chrono at about 140bar. Rog

Rifle was bought used with the anti-tamper already removed! Whether for servicing or so the previous owner could fiddle with the power I dont know.

If no antitamper remove cover screw on firing valve body, down the hole is an Alan screw, turn clockwise to reduce power. Rog

Hi,
Fill pressure does indeed affect power level (you may want to read this :- viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2942). My own .22 carbine produces it's most power at around 130 bar so I check it at that pressure. You wont need to turn the grub screw much to take 1 ft.lbs off the power level though. I'd turn it a 1/4 turn or less at a time as it can be quite sensitive.
