Have used a vice gripping as tight as I dare, the correct XTX tool, stilsons a hammer and heat and it still won't budge. Either it or me is going to end up on the scrap heap if I carry on. This is supposed to be a simple diy job. I can put people back together at work but I can't even get a simple air cylinder apart. Where did you say you lived Raj if it's less than an hour away I think it may be worth a trip to accept your kind offer of assistance.

A big thanks to Raj for helping with my S200 cylinder today. He not only took the time to drill out the holes I had elongated in my attempt to get the cylinder apart, but then also made some new inserts to enable it to be disassembled. A true gent and a credit to the sport and the forum. A pleasure to meet him and yes Raj I will try to get to the meet. Thanks again.

Paul.
