Walter Mitty

Well, I thought I had just joined our BBS friends sniper club. I cleaned the barrel on my MarkII TX and the first 3 shots made a hole that looked like a TicTac shape. The next shot was about an inch higher and left and #5 was even more off, so I was kicked out of the club. Of course, I was only shooting at 55 yards, from the knee, FT style. Yet another vote for the three shot group. :(

Interesting and not impossible, of course. The thing I find particularly interesting is the high rate of fire, particularly at the plate. The shooter seems to achieve a 7 shot group with 5 shots ( :? ) in 6 seconds while the paper plate doesn't even twitch (although, in fairness you do seem to see a bit if paper fly out of it). Considering the gusty wind that is obviously blowing, the group would not be too shabby for the outdoor leg of a top-level Dutch 100 meter shoot - and they use bigger calibre guns way above 12 ft-lb and take several minutes to do it.

But hey, it's on YouTube, it must be right.....

Can we not invite these super shots to one of our get togethers for a demonstration.
I for one would love to see it

Great idea :P Any bets how many would turn up if we did.....

A friend of mine used to call this type of thing 'paranormal shooting' - there are plenty of reports, even witnesses, and people get very angry when you question their claims, but somehow it can never be replicated under properly measured, controlled conditions.
