I removed the AT on my transfer port using a small torx screw I loctited two nuts onto the thread on the torxs screw then tapped the head of the screw onto the AT shear bolt and just unscrewed it. Took all of ten minutes.
If you buy from a fastener specialist you can get high tensile torx screws for a few pence each. I bought mine from BDM fasteners in Crawley Sussex.

My S400 is pre anti tamper. I've just run it over the crono and it's running around 12.8. Tried turning the allen screw in but doesn't seem to make any difference. Am I doing something wrong or is it a Gunsmith job.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that some of the s4**'s had a second grub screw to lock the adjuster off. It may be worth removing the screw you have access to and seeing if there is another beneath it, if so that will be the one to tweak your power back down with. I can reduce the power on mine to well below 6ft/lb if I need to when feral pigeon shooting in fibre board corn sheds :)

I'll take the grub screw out and see if there's anything else. I'll let you know. Thanks.
