Altaros filler/gauge on S410

Hi,

I have recently fitted regulators to my .177 S410 rifles and the air gauges now only read regulator set pressure (until it drops very low anyway). As I cannot be bothered to count the number of shots I have fired during a session and only have 10 fingers and thumbs to count on I decided to fit the Altaros filler/Manometer to each rifle. Parts were ordered and arrived about a week later. Was impressed that each kit has a spanner to remove the old filling fitting. On one rifle the old fitting unscrewed fairly easily but the other one required the application of a little heat (boiling water in this case) to soften the Loctite enough to unscrew it. Those spanners were a godsend. Altaros ones fitted easily and I think look pretty cool. Filling is now via probe which in all honesty is simpler than the Air Arms T-bar type one. The outer sleeve on the Altaros one rotates to cover the probe hole as well! So far very impressed.

Mark

The regs I fitted were Robert Lane ones so yes I drilled holes. Robert is in Leicester so not far from you.
