I'm surprised the jsb 15.9 gr didn't shoot better and 5 of the bisley mags went in one hole followed by 5 flyers but the 18gr diabolo's did well 13mm 6 shot group at 43yards in breezy conditions, so maybe now it's down to pellet choice, I'm waiting on a tin of jsb 18gr pellets and some pellet lube, so hopefully they'll do the business.

I wouldn't worry too much about the grouping yet. Have you tried cleaning the barrel, then firing some more shots through the barrel to lead it up again. I have heard many times that you clean the barrel when your groups start to open up, so that may help, and it doesn't cost anything, apart from a pull through, which I have done today on my rifle using string and some patches.

Yes, I've cleaned the barrel, using Brunox on the patches which is silicone free, made a flyline pullthrough and already had plenty of patches for the .223, 1st thing I did when I got it a week ago was clean it, cleaned it again today as I got some pellet lube and wanted to start fresh with that, I wasn't complaining about those groups I'm fairly happy with the 18gr and the 15.9 shoot as well on full power. To be honest I didn't think the wind would effect the FAC pellets as much sub 50 yards, but my 15.9's are gettin blown about nearly as much as my sub 12ft/lb .177 s200 was, I was shooting in a slight breeze and comparing to hole in hole youtube groups but I think it's got to be dead still to shoot with that kind of accuracy. Maybe I'm wrong just tryin to but the info together and make an educated guess, I think it's performing as it should, I'd love to compare it to another one.

Hi everyone,

After a visit to the gun shop over the weekend the consensus was to drill out the end cap on the silencer.
Two minutes of stripping down the end section and a .5mm sized larger drill and the gun is now running perfectly and one target!.

I might increase it by one full size, only so I can paint the hole and reduce any glare from the exposed aluminium.

Good to hear you got it sorted,
My S510 FAC was much the same as yours and after much cursing I found the 2
O rings on the barrel to shroud support at the end of the actual barrel had been cut on installation as this little
Carrier is very sharp and sort of fluted to channel the air back down between the barrel and shroud..
