I'm surprised the jsb 15.9 gr didn't shoot better and 5 of the bisley mags went in one hole followed by 5 flyers but the 18gr diabolo's did well 13mm 6 shot group at 43yards in breezy conditions, so maybe now it's down to pellet choice, I'm waiting on a tin of jsb 18gr pellets and some pellet lube, so hopefully they'll do the business.
I wouldn't worry too much about the grouping yet. Have you tried cleaning the barrel, then firing some more shots through the barrel to lead it up again. I have heard many times that you clean the barrel when your groups start to open up, so that may help, and it doesn't cost anything, apart from a pull through, which I have done today on my rifle using string and some patches.
Yes, I've cleaned the barrel, using Brunox on the patches which is silicone free, made a flyline pullthrough and already had plenty of patches for the .223, 1st thing I did when I got it a week ago was clean it, cleaned it again today as I got some pellet lube and wanted to start fresh with that, I wasn't complaining about those groups I'm fairly happy with the 18gr and the 15.9 shoot as well on full power. To be honest I didn't think the wind would effect the FAC pellets as much sub 50 yards, but my 15.9's are gettin blown about nearly as much as my sub 12ft/lb .177 s200 was, I was shooting in a slight breeze and comparing to hole in hole youtube groups but I think it's got to be dead still to shoot with that kind of accuracy. Maybe I'm wrong just tryin to but the info together and make an educated guess, I think it's performing as it should, I'd love to compare it to another one.
