Shot my combro

Sun Mar 01, 2015 11:23 am

Just a hello to all on the new forum really.
Still have my TXHC,still better than new.
As for the title, the only airgun related thing that happened in the last year, hand holding it onto my Webly Premier, anyone got one that the case is OK but doesn't work I'd be interested.
Been mostly shooting black powder pistols for the last 5 years but rate Airguns in their own right, nothing beats plinking for an hour or two in the sunshine for a few pence.
Its good to belong to a club that doesn't turn their noses up at Air rifle or pistol,

Post your Combro back to Robin.

I think he charges around £7.50 for a full refurb.

Thanks Ray,
Just looked on the combro site, thought mine was just dead in the water like so many plastic things.
Could buy the parts be a cheapskate but why not just get it done properly.
The clever dumb balance may yet be restored.

As already said, return it to Robin and if you shot the combro because it was not correctly aligned with the barrel, get Robin to send you a barrel aligning tool. Less than a fiver, as I recall, and quick and simple to use.

Update.the remains are in the post to Robin,I don't like doing dumb things but as we don't have a village idiot we all just have to take it in turns.
Ok that's not entirely true, there's this one guy who mows the church grass on really hot days....
