so while awaiting a trigger mech repair, my gun is in bits and is there anything else I can do To enhance performance without purchasing aftermarkets or polishing the hammer rail any more!? :roll: :D

you could check the ends of the hammer and valve springs, as they can sometimes be a bit rough. also check that the valve stem runs smoothly in the valve housing.
if it doesnt, give it a careful polish without scratching the black valve.
was your valve extruded when you stripped it down ???? (i meant to ask you t'other day)

I'll help me self to a cider tim ;) pogue I just had a look and it doesn't seem to be massive but there is the slightest little lip to it far less than 0.1 mm
