Internals
so while awaiting a trigger mech repair, my gun is in bits and is there anything else I can do To enhance performance without purchasing aftermarkets or polishing the hammer rail any more!?

you could check the ends of the hammer and valve springs, as they can sometimes be a bit rough. also check that the valve stem runs smoothly in the valve housing.
if it doesnt, give it a careful polish without scratching the black valve.
was your valve extruded when you stripped it down ???? (i meant to ask you t'other day)

I'll help me self to a cider tim pogue I just had a look and it doesn't seem to be massive but there is the slightest little lip to it far less than 0.1 mm
