S200

I've just acquired a aa s200 and it's only doing 9.ftlbs,I've adjusted the grub screw to fully open the transfer port and adjusted the hammer spring in has far has it will go so the hammer still cocks and the power remains the same.what is the problem I have,I want to set it at 10.5ftlbs with jsb exact

Might be an idea to get a new "Standard" spring off Julian on here (bgaltd).

It could be someones fitted a 6FPE spring or the original is just tired. It's where I would start anyway.

First thing to check would be the probe seal, especially if you have a multi shot kit on it.

I've added a multi shot kit but that was only yesterday,would the probe seal if worn or damaged have affect on the power output?

yup, air trying to push pellet forward would simply leak out around the seal (if worn) ergo- less power emerges at the business end!

I've now found the source of the problem which is air leaking from the bolt o ring so have ordered some from Julian along with some others for spares should i need them
