That makes three of us then.

I took mine off the TXHC after messing about for a couple of hours and couldn't get on with it. :(
Had to buy a new seal as well after buggering up the original (didn't use hot water) but have to say, after fitting the new piston seal, the rifle was putting out 11.4 ft lbs with Diablo Fields.

Then i sold it, 2 weeks later :( , and bought an S200 :D , 3 weeks after that, went to buy some pellets, and came home with an S410 Superlite :D.
Best thing was, the wife never noticed the changes

Regarding your coments on your .177 Pro. I fitted a Tinbum spring guide and top hat to my .177 Pro.This made a huge difference to the lock time.Smoother and easier to cock.Hold sensitivity was also reduced. So iam loathed to try shortstroking for the same reasons you give.Try what i did for a big improvement on the Pro.

How did you get on with the short stroke?

Hi. I took the short stroke off after about 20 shoots. The power dropped down to 9.5 ish and I didnt find the hold sensativity was any better plus the cocking stroke was a lot harder. I dont know if it was because it was a TX HC but I gave it a try.

Was that with the standard AA spring?

Yes i did the same with my pro sport, timbum kit very good fitting spring guide no pre load washers and shoots 11.4. getting rid of the heavy piston weight makes it better imo.Worth the £23.
