The Great British Shooting Show

Tue Feb 17, 2015 11:45 am

I went on Saturday, saw some ballistic jelly, had my boots shined and ate a pork roll. Masses to see but I missed most of it  .
I thought I'll take the dog, a change of scenery for him, something different, it seemed that everyone wanted to ask about him and give him a fuss or take a photo, every ten paces. My mate Dave couldn't believe it, it was like having a celebrity dog

I went on Friday, was very dissapionted in the air side ,it was easy too get in great parking ,but if your main interest is air rifle shooting stuff then was it worth the £17? no way was it ,I wont go again could have used the money to put to something better.

A friend and I went on the Friday too and to be perfectly honest I have to agree with you billywhizz, the air rifle side was pretty naff, although I did bag myself a TX200HC and Hawke scope, so not a total waste. I wouldn't bother going again though.

I went on the Friday and only just managed to get in to the air bit as it was closing. A quick hello to the AA guys and the Rowan boys. There was plenty of room and lots to see.

Everyone reacts that way with mastiff dogs. Just somthing about them peoe love. My boy is a South African Boerboel. He has been to field target shoots. And he matches my TX 200 walnut stock
