I fitted a Tinbum kit to my tx to cure the twanging that it suffered from, and it did the job admirably :D

But If your TX is very good and you are happy with it LEAVE IT ALONE :D

was the new spring guide a tight fit in the spring over the tx one ?

I put one in my hw98 which was 2 weeks old and twanging its bag off It did a great job as the 98 has no original top hat it is now a pleasure to shoot after further polishing of the piston and Sears it is twang less. , I found the hw spring to harsh so I put a Titan in and after loosing some coils it is shooting at a great 10.5 which is plenty for a 177 nice and smooth ,stokie99

Good write up Timmytree, I droped one into a HW98 which I had cut half a coil off due to it being 11.8ftlbs.
From 10.8ftlbs ish it then went to, with the tbm kit to 11.2ftlbs and very consistent fps.
