Does anybody have any experience of of Tinbums short stroking noses (no doubt there is a technically correct term?) for a TX mk3
I note the shift to a HW seal is required but, no big deal with that (Vortek seem to have a good reputation)
The goal is to reduce a tad the hold sensitivity, the GC custom stocks have helped a lot but, I am still struggling to get the sort of results one reads about.
Sub 20mm groups fine out to about 35m but, after that I am struggling.
The zen mantras of consistent hold and practise, practise.... are well appreciated.
Don't hold back chaps, fire at will

Re: TX short stroking
I have short stroke my tx hc and my mate has a short stroked mk111 and we'll worth it, timbum is a great guy and I would of brought the one off him if I didn't order the one of Blackpool rifles first. Timbum includes the hw seal so no need to shop around for one. Great buy and will change the way it shoots completly

Re: TX short stroking
Thank you custard1, good to know. I have gone ahead and ordered the Tinbum short stroke kits and have some Vortek HW 25mm seals on the way.
With my V-Mach internals the .177 TX's (full length) are currently at around 11.9 ft/lbs (which was precisely as requested to Steve Pope, with a future short stroke project in mind) with one washer and JSB Express. Hopefully the short-stroking will bring that down closer to the 10.8-11.2 range, we shall see.
I will provide an update for the benefit of others once I have the parts and my energy back to install them.

Re: TX short stroking
It won't affect the power as it never did on mine and my mates
