I Love Working From Home

Tue Apr 21, 2015 3:27 pm

Hi All,

I'm working from home today, so I like to take my breaks outside; especially when the weather is as nice as this!

I nipped around to the back of my house at about 11am with the rifle to see whether anything was around, but there was nothing to be seen. I came back into the house and was opening the bedroom window when I spotted a pigeon feeding on the grass behind our house, at about 25 yards away. It was a difficult shot as I had to lean out of the window to get a clear aim, but it paid off and I landed a pellet just behind his left eye.

It's the first quarry I've taken this year

Here's to hoping it's the first of many! Pigeon will be on the menu tonight, the breasts are already sitting in the fridge. Now, where the recipe section :D

Cheers,

James
