The rabbits are back!

The rabbits are back!

Postby Timmytree » Tue Mar 14, 2017 4:45 pm

Over the last week or so the rabbits have been reappearing in much better numbers than I expected. It's almost as though they hibernated but I'm glad to see them back and with a fair sprinkling of youngsters as well. In work I've got woodies sitting on eggs as well. Hopefully this year won't be as barren as last year!

Pretty good around here, I had my last bunnies in the freezer in late November, will be out tomorrow night for the new ones.
The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second one mouse that gets the cheese.

Well despite the rabbits showing quite well I haven't really bothered with them. I've watched them through the scope, laughed at the antics of the tiddlers. enjoyed watching them sunning themselves and so far only shot one ancient buck who was being a bit of a bully. I'm getting soft!

Same here Timmy. Cant get to shooting them.
And yes, Ray. Just read your post and re-read mine. All 7 baby rabbits were brought in by Stormzy. That is why I said I was going to hang my rifle up :)
