Her who is never wrong was making a cuppa this morning about 9, when she gives out an almighty shout KEEVVIINN. I nearly had a heart attack rush into the kitchen and she points out 6 rats feeding under the bird feeders. Naturaly i reach for my gun while she disappears to dring her tea. 1 hour later 4 dead rats and no-more are showing themselves so I pack in, but will be keeping an eye out for more.
In the past i have shot a lot of rats under the feeders but have never seen 6 at 1 time.

Re: Young rats
They love meal worms.
I darent put them out any more. Only 1 rat but it tunnelled under the decking to find what dropped through.
I had another that put all the peanuts under the shed for later. Couldnt get it with a scoped rifle because of the low gap. got it with a webley premier pistol on its side.
