written permission .

just out to clear some rabbits tonight shot 4 .
back to the gate gut them ,and chat to the farmer ,
when not one but two police cars go by ,to the amazement
they turn round and head back up and stop next to me .
the farmers wife asks are you lost ?
no we are looking man who was walking round the field
with a gun at the rear of the pub .
so I tell them it was me here is written permission ,
my insurance and id .
but for firearms officers they had no idea what a
sub 12 fbl air rifle was I did tell them. nor did they want to see the said weapon .
but even with the land owner there still needed to see it
in writing .
so worth having
it with you at all times .and beware of drunks in pub carparks as they think
you are attacking the pub .
still they never bothered to ask if he was safe to drive .
