I got me a rabbit

Sun Jul 05, 2015 10:53 am

At last i shot a rabbit while decoying magpie, shot placement looks poor but it was actually perfect, shot from behind slightly side on so entry at the right ear no exit hole but a swollen left eye, lights out my freind, 35 yards estimated 35yards paced, shot down a hedge line that ment absolutely no wind, shot with the s400 which is only down side wish it was the prosport that took it

Nice one, good shooting mate. Lets hope that gives you the motivation to keep you guns. ;)

Nicely done! 8-)

Thanks guys had another good shoot today on targets, really got to grips with the prosport and only a slight breeze which made a massive differance, back to sub 5p groups at 35 yards, yes there is a god

Glad you've managed to break your duck on the rabbit front and even better if its giving you back your enthusiasm for the game :) I've finally shot my first two bunnies of the year as well (over 6 months in :x ) around here we suddenly seem to be seeing as bit of a build up in the numbers of young ones even though there is no sign of mature rabbits (not quite sure how that works but at least its promising for when the crops get knocked down and we can finally see to shoot) :)

Well there just isnt the bunny numbers on my shoot and i wouldnt want to kill young uns, magpies thats the real pest at the moment, but there real canny buggers, biggest problem of all though is wind and its not just at the farm, the editor of airgun shooter mag thought enough to mention in his colum this month
