Frustrating!

Wed May 17, 2017 3:25 pm

My place looks out onto a large grass field that was reseeded late last year, the farmer has taken 1 crop of grass already but it's growing fast and there's something in there thats attracting pigeons! Might be chickweed or clover but for the last 4 days there has been anywhere from 20 to 100 birds on the powerlines and another 100 + in the grass where I can't see to shoot them! More pigeons than I saw all of last year!
I've got permission to shoot but sadly the majority of them are staying far enough away to be safe. I hope the farmer starts mowing again soon, I like the idea of sitting in my lounge and shooting over decoys!

Now that would be heaven 8-) 8-) .
Failing that you'll have to set up a hide nearer to the power lines. That prosport needs dusting down

I'm gonna call on you one of these days, Tim. My work is bringing me to Exeter frequently. Will throw the S200 in the boot next time :)
