This may sound like a daft question but it is genuine. How effective is it? I ask because I have a screw in silencer for my TX200 HC which does efectively nothing - whereas I have a silencer on my LGV which completely transforms the gun!

Found it very, very effective on an HC, doesn't transform the gun but, makes it very, very much quieter.
Highly recommended.
I also had a shorter stubby one made by UK Neil which was also very, very good. To appreciate the difference though you obviously need to appraise the noise reduction a few feet from the gun due to the action noise from springers with your ear up against the stock.

Agreed - on my LGV when you are shooting it and your cheek is resting on the stock the noise transferred is much greater than when you see/hear someone else shooting it!

Hi Matt,

Is it possible to have one made up for a TX200 HC in .177?

Cheers
Sean.
