Hey guys,

New to the club.

been looking around for a while at forums and every other airgun forums seems to point to you guys. so this is where I have laid my hat. Hope you all don't mind.

So a bit about me i spose....

I have been out of the air rifle game for a while, pretty much 10 years.

I previously had a BSA Lightening .177, then purchased a Falcon FN19 PCP .22.

unfortunately, got a job got married hand kids and it all went away.
However after scoring and saving brownie points I pursued the wife to allow me to have an air rifle again as I missed the sport as well as the proviso I don't kill bunnies ( lets me fair I lied here ).

So i spent some time looking and purchased myself a second hand 2006 AA S410 Classic .22 ( I'm not a fan of the carbine look ). Came with a Hawke 3-9X50 Sport HD, moderator and a hand pump all in all for £550. did all the necessary checks and purchased a Combro to be sure I wasn't going to get in trouble and sure enough 11.7FT/lb ( sweat over ).

so did some more research on how to get the best out of one of these and i have stripped it, polished the hammer rail etc, polished the trigger sear and replaced the seals and seems to be well.

the one thing that i seem to be getting is the floppy trigger issue. now i have checked images and all the trigger spring etc all appear correct and present yet i still get a floppy trigger when not cocked. ive watched youtube videos, read forums and probs made my eye sigh worse than it already is but i just can seem to find a solution. It downs have the crinckle washes every one talks about and if some one to point me in the right direction for these that would be great, but the slack is in the front to back motion not the horizontal motion ( however there is some of that as well ).

enough about me,

how are you guys doing ? :D

Welcome to the AAOC. All the triggers seem to have a lot of movement until the action is cocked,so i wouldnt worry about it.
The crinkley washers were only needed in the early triggers as a replacement for the thick rubber donuts. Air Arms later increased the material to do away with these altogether.

ALL your genuine AA spares can be purchased from the AAOC site owner bgaltd...Julian Bond.

Ps why dont you fill out your location as for future reference 8-)

Welcome to the AAOC.
Nice intro and a nice gun to start back into the sport with. Plenty of experience and advice can be found on here." Help will always be given on the AAOC to those who ask".
