Heat Shrink Tube.

Tue Feb 09, 2016 7:01 pm

Does anybody have a piece of heatsink tube lying around that would fit my S410 hammer spring? I'm willing to send a couple of quid, I just can't find any packs for less than silly money.

What diameter is required? I will check the tackle shop and if he can't help I will get back to you. Thanks.

off the top of my head i think its 3 mill internal diameter tube. Others may know exactly?
If you have the spring out take it along and measure it against the tube.
Dont know if you have used shrink tube before but it does shrink down a lot when placed in very hot water.

You push it onto the spring, so it follows all of the coils effectively plastic coating it like an electrical wire, it dampens down the twang when you fire.
