Is it just me or does anyone else thing the Mk3 TX and HC would look so much better with a Mk1 front end/latch set up ?

I know that I'm digging up an old thread, but would you please tell me where you got that adjustable butt pad? I like this style better than the Rowan one.

The older HC models had a round, blued holder, just like the old MarkI and MarkII guns, only a tad shorter. I fitted them to both my MarkIII's and they do look so much better. The HC now comes with the slab sided version, just like the standard length gun. You may get lucky and find some old stock of the round HC detent and they are a direct fit.
