Hi all . I may treat myself to a AA Prosport or HC underlever . I prefer a carbine as opposed to TX standard length but which one is better or are they a s good as each other?? I am referring to accuracy not power . Any pros or cons of the different models ??. I have read some reports Prosports are more hold sensitive or is that a load of rubbish???
Any pointers would be gratefully received , I dont mind the under lever on the Prosport Ive got a BSA Airsporter which seems similar and dont mind that?

Just read some older posts here so answered some of my questions , Prosport looks nicer but a little more waering when shooting due to shorter lever ?? just leaves one question is either more accurate due to weight or balance or both the same I am erring towards Prosport as i like shrouded barrel and looks

The TX is a tricky beast to shoot.

My Prosport is as accurate as any of my PCPs with AA fields or Falcons. As for weight, it's no heavier that my HW100. In a hunting situation it will kill at over fifty yards. I will point out that I use a tripod when hunting.

Hello Staffy1,

I have both (in 0.177) because they are both great, but different.

TX200HC - Super accurate, gorgeous "fish scale" chequering, slightly lighter, reasonably compact. Not the quietest report, but not too intrusive. Can be tiring to cock during long sessions due to the short cocking lever.

ProSport - Super accurate, beautiful looks, easy to cock, reasonably quiet due to internal moderator. I find it a little hold sensitive.

If you are considering using it for competition work (FT/HFT) then what Nick said...
