Hi all,

New to the forum (introduced myself in the welcome thread) and hopefully will be the proud owner of a new .177 ProSport in Walnut very soon.

Umm-ing and ahh-ing about a new scope too, but what just wondering what AA Springer shooters are using/recommending mounts wise?

All help gratefully received...

At the moment there's a bkl mount sat atop my tx,not overly tightened and never shifts.Previously used a dampamount with no issues.

Ditto for BKL double strap mounts. A little more expensive than some, but worth every penny. Got them on my TX200 HC and ProSport and they've never budged when torqued-up correctly. A word of warning though, don't lubricate the Allen screw threads otherwise you could apply more bolt tension than needed, and may strip the threads in the aluminium supports.

A big plus with BKL mounts is they put your scope smack bang on the action/barrel centreline. Unlike some of the others.
